City officials are asking residents to prepare for expected rainy weather this week leading into next week.

To help Alamedans prepare for upcoming storms, Public Works has opened a sandbag station on Alameda Point at Lexington Street and West Tower Avenue. The station will be open from noon to 1 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday until Dec. 15.
