Alameda Museum &nbsp&nbsp James Fair hired the San Francisco Bridge Company to build a dance hall he called “The Wigwam” and a restaurant with a view. These buildings graced Fairs’ Neptune Gardens along the San Francisco Bay shoreline south of Central Avenue near Webster Street.
