mural

For the past month, a group of teenage artists have been hard at work at the Alameda Free Library. The teens designed and painted an entire mural themselves, despite having no prior mural experience.

Teen Librarian Matt Conciatori at the Alameda Free Library and Alameda High School art teacher Margaret Morrissey helped guide the project.

The artists, their families and the library will hold an unveiling ceremony this Sunday, June 22, at the Main Library Branch at 11 a.m.

The branch is located at 1550 Oak St.
