The design for the rebuild of the recreation center at Littlejohn Park is complete and construction is anticipated to start in early 2023. According to the city, this phase of the work took longer than expected due to pandemic delays that impacted the construction industry.

About 40 friends, family members, former players and their parents gathered at Littlejohn Park Saturday, Sept. 24, to send youth basketball coach Sherman Lee into retirement.
