Greenway Golf Associates (GGA) filed a cross-complaint against the City of Alameda with the Superior Court of California in response to the city’s suit against Greenway over management concerns at the Chuck Corica Golf Complex.
The city of Alameda has settled a lawsuit that accused one of its officers of excessive physical force stemming from an arrest of a disabled Alameda resident in 2012.
The city has scored what officials hope is a final legal victory in a trio of bondholder lawsuits that followed the sale of Alameda Municipal Power’s telecommunications business in 2008.
