I had a hard time falling asleep last night and this is not an uncommon occurrence these days. As I process the events of the day while lying in bed, it is very easy to hit turbulence.

I try to understand and comprehend mass shootings at schools, movie theaters, homes, churches, community centers and businesses but I am not at all successful. What is it like to be in a room where someone is indiscriminately shooting people?
