An exhibition of work by the Alameda Photographic Society (APS) will open this Saturday, Sept. 1, at The Local, 1333 Park St. The work of a dozen club photographers will be on display for the month of September, along with information about the club and photographer bios. A reception for the public with refreshments will be held on Friday, Sept. 14, at 7 p.m. Visitors can meet the photographers and find out more about APS and its programs.
