Long-time St. Joseph Notre Dame (SJND) head basketball coach Don Lippi announced he is stepping away from his role as the leader of the men’s basketball program. Lippi’s retirement was announced in an article on the SJND website.
Nearly 200 guests gathered to honor former St. Joseph Notre Dame Coach Don Lippi with testimonials, remembrances, hugs, and even some tears as “Coach” wrapped up his 50 years of Bay Area high school and college basketball coaching.
The Saint Joseph Notre Dame (SJND) Pilots fended off a late comeback attempt from the visiting Encinal Jets, beating their city rivals, 53-49, on Friday, Dec. 2.
