The City of Alameda is seeking input from the Alameda community on plans for the De-Pave Park design. The city is currently in the engagement phase of the collaborative park design.
Alameda’s proposed De-Pave Park project has made the short list for this year’s grant funding from the San Francisco Bay Restoration Authority. The Restoration Authority Board will hear staff recommendations and provide input at its Feb.
At its Nov. 7 meeting, the City Council directed staff to create a plan to remove two buildings located within the defined De-Pave Park area to create a more expansive park for residents and wildlife.
