In October, the East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) will start the work to repair their sewer along segments of Buena Vista Avenue. Construction will extend to February 2023.

The road connecting Atlantic Avenue and Sherman Street between Buena Vista Avenue and Wind River Road will remain closed until Jan. 14, 2022, due to weather delays, according to a press release from the City of Alameda.
