School Board Votes to End Bay Farm Middle School

In honor of their contributions to “green programs” for the Alameda Unified School District (AUSD), the U.S. Department of Education is including both Bay Farm School and Edison Elementary School on this year’s Green Strides Tour.
When Bay Farm School students and staff arrived at school on Aug. 14, they discovered the campus had been transformed by the addition of a spacious, light-filled classroom building and outdoor learning spaces.
Bay Farm Middle School concluded its first School Olympics event Monday, Feb. 26, at the school campus.
About 90 sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade boys and girls competed in the event. Bay Farm Elementary students did not participate.
