Alameda Police Department (APD) patrol officers had to respond to several incidents involving suspected intoxicated drivers including two incidents involving vehicle collisions the weekend before last.

Police Arrest Gas Thief
An Alameda woman was arrested last week for attempting to steal gas from a parked vehicle.
Monday, Dec. 7
Three cases of ID theft reported: at 3:35 a.m. on the 1800 block of Sherman Street; at 8:07 a.m. on the 1100 block of Pacific Avenue; and at 1:13 p.m. on the 2400 block of Otis Drive.
Assault with a weapon reported at 10:28 a.m. on Chapin Street.
