The Alameda Police Department is supporting the Oakland Police Department in their search of a missing Oakland girl.
On Thursday, August 4, Alameda Police Department (APD) announced on their Facebook page that an arrest had been made in the homicide of an Alameda woman.
A 30-year cold case murder of an Alameda woman was closed by the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office (SMSO) on August 2 after the suspect’s whereabouts were discovered.
Alameda Police Department (APD) officers recently arrested a 29-year-old Hayward man accused of stealing high-valued boating equipment in the city’s boating community, according to an announcement on APD’s Facebook page.
On July 17 around 6 p.m., Alameda Police Department (APD) dispatchers received a call from an employee at a South Shore Center business about a theft. As the involved parties left the scene, the caller was able to provide a detailed description of the individuals and their vehicle.
The Alameda Police Department (APD) is holding several days of fishing for children six to 15 years old. APD’s Casting with Cops events will take place Tuesdays and Thursdays between July 19 to July 28, and on Monday, August 1 and Wednesday, August 3.
