APD arrests suspect from Alameda
Alameda police officer Russell Wise was involved in a hit-and-run accident last Tuesday, May 3, that left him injured and needing medical assistance.
The Alameda Police Department (APD) and several other Alameda County law enforcement agencies conducted a prostitution sting that led to 11 arrests in Alameda last Thursday, April 28.
Alameda Police Department (APD) needs the community’s assistance identifying three suspects who have burglarized a business at South Shore Center several times. Police described the suspects, pictured above, as being in their late teens to early 20s.
In the early morning hours of Sept. 28, 2014, officers from the Alameda Police Department (APD) arrested Stephen Petersen and charged him with arson. APD suspected Petersen of having a role in setting a series of arson fires that plagued the city earlier in that same evening.

Battery reported at 1:15 p.m. on the 2500 block of Santa Clara Avenue.
Vandalism reported at 7:14 a.m. on the 800 block of Walnut Street.
Property recovered and turned over to APD at 9:44 a.m. on the 2100 block of Otis Drive.
