Alameda Little League Coach Norm McBride was named the Future Oakland A’s Coach of the Month for the month of June.
Norm has been coaching little league baseball since 2015. His wife Tiffany wrote his nomination summary to the Oakland A’s. Tiffany’s summary stated:
The Alameda Blaze 10-and-under softball team finished second in the Fast Pitch Top Gun South Bay Tournament 10U division on June 24 and 25 in Pleasanton.
The Alameda Girls Softball Association (AGSA) extended its spring season registration. Registration for the 8-and-under, 10-and-under, 12-and-under, and 14-and-under divisions were extended to Jan. 13, while the 6-and-under league registration was moved to Jan. 20.
