Alameda Sun Circulation Manager Joyce McConeghey brought the Sun with her on vacation in Albuquerque, N.M., where she visited the statue of Francisco Cuervo y Valdes. Francisco is credited for founding Albuquerque in 1706. He was the son of the Province of Asturias, Spain.
