The Alameda Sun shined bright on Church Street in Burlington, Vt., this fall as 22-month-old Thimos Goodwin traveled to visit his grandparents, aunt and uncle, and new cousin. The Green Mountain State is home to Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream, the largest maple syrup producer in the U.S., the only northeast state that doesn’t touch the Atlantic Ocean, and objectively one of the most beautiful states outside of California.
