The Sun Shines Everywhere

Kim Lantz, a language major, takes time out from her semester of studies in Russian at the University of Saint Petersburg, Russia to catch up on Alameda news stories in the Alameda Sun. She is enjoying the news standing in front of St. Basil’s Cathedral on the Red Square near the walls of the Kremlin in Moscow. It was built on orders from Ivan the Terrible and commemorates the capture of Kazan and Astrakhan.
