Sun Shines Everywhere 97

Alamedans Wolfgang Brinck and Joan Boucher optimistically pitched their new yurt in Kings Canyon National Park two days before the federal shutdown. Here is National Park Ranger Tom Parrock giving Wolfgang the bad news that campers have two days to vacate the park while Boucher snapped the picture. In return, Brinck offered the good ol' local news in the Alameda Sun to Parrock. At over 8,200 feet, Kings Canyon is the deepest glacier-carved canyon in the continental United States. Beautiful!
