Sun Shines Everywhere 8651

Longtime Alameda resident Laurence Zambrano and her daughter, Alessandra, took along a copy of the Alameda Sun when they recently visisted friends in Kula, Hawaii. The vacation was also a celebration of Alessandra’s graduation from Cal Poly. They reported feeling most relieved when the missile-strike alert issued during their stay turned out to be in error. “Mahalo!” wrote the island-hopping readers.
