Sun Shines Everywhere 8361

Srikant and Prathiba of Alameda went on a trip with the Alameda Sun to see their parents in India. There they visited the Charminar in the city of Hyderabad. The Charminar, which means “Four Minarets,” was constructed in 1591. The monument and mosque is listed among the most recognized structures of India. The more than 400-year-old building is also famous for its surrounding markets, the most popular being the “Laad Bazar,” which has hundreds of shops selling exquisite bangles and other fancy jewelry.
