Sun Shines Everywhere 693

Debi Palmer of Alameda traveled to central Texas to bicycle with 200 other injured veterans on the UnitedHealthcare Ride 2 Recovery Texas Challenge. This week-long event is the first of six in 2014 that helps injured veterans in their physical and mental rehabilitation by providing a challenging cycling event. Injured veterans and other cyclists who raised funds to support this program rode almost 500 miles through rain and sunshine from Houston to Fort Worth. Here Palmer posed among the other 200 injured veterans lining up before they left the AT&T stadium on the last leg of the Challenge.
