Sun Shines Everywhere 4138

Just in time for Thanksgiving, Richard Chapman recently returned from the Nickerson Family Reunion held at Plymouth, Mass. The Nickerson family were pioneers in settling the town of Chatham on Cape Cod. In addition to catching up on the news of all his “Nick” cousins, Richard, with his sisters: Priscilla Cedrone of Hanover, Mass. and Nancy Bestul of Shorewood, Minn., visited the Mayflower replica, Plymouth Rock and the Plymouth Plantations, a recreation of the 17th-century village where actors portray Pilgrims from 1624. Richard’s hobby is geneaology. “It’s a little spooky to talk with one of my ‘ancestors,’” he said. “The actors stay in character at all times, and you end up feeling that you’ve bridged five centuries in hearing about their daily lives.”
