Sun Shines Everywhere 3755

While attending the 23rd World Scout Jamboree in Japan, Alameda Scouts took a moment to catch up with the Alameda Sun at the Meiji Shrine in Tokyo. The Northern California troop spent 16 days in Japan and camped with 30,000 Scouts and Scouters from around the globe at the Jamboree site near Yamaguchi. Program highlights included the Peace Program at Hiroshima, the Global Development Village, exciting arena shows and swapping patches and uniforms while creating new international friendships.
