Sun Shines Everywhere

Alamedans Vali and Kenyon Ebert took the Alameda Sun to the Potenza National Archaeological Museum, in the Basilicata region of southern Italy. The area is called “authentic Italy” for its rootedness in old ways and lack of tourism. They experienced beautiful ruins, kind people, improbable hill towns, and award-winning wines and gelato. The couple found the house where Vali’s maternal grandmother was born.
