The Alameda Mastick Senior Center Monday Walking Group picked a picture-perfect day recently to enjoy the beautiful views of the bay and walk across the Golden Gate Bridge. A group of 42 braved crowds of pedestrians, swarms of bicycle riders and refreshing winds. For many this was a first time/bucket list item/dream come true adventure of a lifetime or a welcome repeat of a favorite walk. Some only took a few steps onto the walkway, got to the middle of the bridge or celebrated on the Marin County side, it was extra special to experience it with friends and family. The famous Alameda Sun shone brightly on this very memorable day for the “Fantastik Mastik” Seniors.
