Sun Shines Everywhere 13812

Back in 2019, Bill and Nancy Elzig of Thompson Avenue took the Alameda Sun to visit their son, David Elzig and his girlfriend, Casey Rushforth, who live in Western Australia. Here they stand in Scarborough Beach, a coastal suburb of Perth named after the English Beach in North Yorkshire, England. From the beach you can see the famed Rottnest Island, home of the quokka, a small wallaby-like marsupial.

"The Sun Shines Everywhere" attempts to show the Alameda Sun in every state of the Union and every country in the world. Submit a small descriptive paragraph along with your photo to the Alameda Sun, 3215-J Encinal Ave., Alameda, CA 94501. Submissions may also be e-mailed to editor@alamedasun.com. The Sun Shines Everywhere is published on a completely random basis.
