Jeff and Susan Dunn recently visited Death Valley, where they and hiked for four days. They took the Alameda Sun along and stopped at Immigrant Campground, on the west side of the park for this photograph. “We were on the road to Panamint Springs and ultimately our journey home,” Susan said. “We ran into few tourists because of the size of the park, and fewer people traveling these days. The weather was gorgeous, very much like Alameda in temperature.”
