Alameda resident Joana Weber, who ran for Alameda City Council in 2012, and her family, took the Alameda Sun to Caldas Novas, Brazil. Known for its thermal baths, Caldas Novas is considered the largest hydro-thermal resort in the world. Its natural and artificial pools take the form of theme parks and spas for tourists.
