Sun Shines Everywhere 11722

Alameda resident Srikant Ramakrishnan visited his parents in yderabad, India. He is pictured here with his mother, Sheila. They took the Alameda Sun along as they visited the Qutub Shahi Tombs, located at Ibrahim Bagh garden near Hyderabad’s famous Golconda Fort. The garden contains the tombs and mosques by various kings of the Qutub Shahi dynasty built in the 16th and 17th centuries. The tombs were once furnished with carpet, chandeliers and velvet canopies on silver poles. Restoration work on these monuments began in 2013 and is still in process.
