Marie Josephine (Carlomagno) Mulcahy
Marie Mulcahy was born on Nov. 3, 1918, in San Francisco, and passed away on Dec. 23, 2017, in Reno, Nev., just seven weeks after she celebrated her 99th birthday.
Marie moved with her family to Alameda as a young girl. She remained in Alameda until she moved to Reno in 2011. She attended St. Joseph’s Elementary School and Alameda High School and she worked at Alameda Drug Store for many years.
Marie enjoyed bowling, attending Oakland A’s games, trips to Reno to visit her daughter and grandsons and volunteering at the Red Cross with her cousin, Josephine Crowley, and her husband, Ken.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Catherine Carlomagno, and her brother, Sal, and his wife, Ferne. She is survived by daughter, Janis (Harold), grandsons, Corey Bond and Casey Bond (Kim) and great-grandchildren: Jacob, Kaylen and Frankie. She is also survived by nieces, Susan and Catherine McFeely; nephews, Richard and Hudson McFeely and many cousins and special friends.
