Thomas Robert Allen ‘Manfred’ Jr.
Thomas Robert Allen Jr. was Born in Fresno on May 8, 1948. He was raised in Alameda, where he graduated from Alameda High in 1966.
He was a drummer who played with Mink De Ville, Tommy Two-tone and various other groups. Tom was a founding member of the very popular Alameda-based band The Alameda All Stars.
He passed away on April 19, 2016, in Colorado where he worked at Ecocycle for the last 20 years of his life.
Many of his friends, including Pat Potter and Tommy Thompson, along with his brother Erick Waddington are putting together a musical tribute in his memory.
The tribute will take place this Saturday, July 9, at the Eagles Hall, 2035 Alameda Ave., from 3 to 8 p.m. All are welcome to come, listen to music, share a story and see old friends.
