Robert Alan Cowart

Robert Alan Cowart passed away on Oct 31, 2014, at home in Alameda after a four-year battle with cancer.

Born July 4, 1955, in Benton County, Oregon, he was the fourth child of five. He was an amazing musician and sailor, understood and could fix anything electronic, was able to build or repair anything and was a true Renaissance man. Life to him was a big adventure, and he lived it to the fullest.

He is pre-deceased by his oldest sibling, Diane Ward, and is survived by his wife of 29 years, Pamela, and daughter Jessica, as well as his sisters Robin Cowart, April Tarango and brother Eric (Debbie) Cowart, and numerous brother- and sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Robert’s life will take place on Saturday, Nov. 15, at 2 p.m., at Christ Episcopal Church, 1700 Santa Clara Ave. in Alameda. Anyone who would like to join the celebration is welcome to attend.
