Beverly Jean McCall

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Beverly Jean McCall. She passed away in LaPine, OR on Friday August 21, 2020 at 11:30 pm after fighting pancreatic cancer.

Beverly was born April 30, 1934 in Alameda, CA to Marjorie and Reginold Brown. She married James Lee McCall in Alameda, CA on November 14, 1964. They have three daughters, Ramona (Larry) Turner of ID, Gerilee McCall of TX and Colleen (Thomas) Laszlo of OR. She also leaves behind 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Beverly was a Terminal Agent with Greyhound for 26 years before opening a business with her husband. They operated their business together for 30 years before retiring to LaPine, OR in 2005. Prior to their retirement they enjoyed traveling both in and out of the country. Along with her husband she was a longtime member of the High Lakes Car Club, and Bev never missed stopping at garage sales.

Beverly was preceded in death by her sister Faith Sellers and her brother Sterling Brown. There will be a small private gathering to celebrate her life later this month in LaPine. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Beverly’s name to the American Cancer Society.
