Robert ‘Bobby’ A. Ramirez
Robert “Bobby” Ramirez, beloved husband and father, passed away April 12, 2019. Bobby was born in Oakland on July, 16, 1946, and graduated from Alameda High School.
He was predeceased by his mother, Charlotte (Carlotta Nava) and father, Frank Ramirez, his brothers Frank Ramirez, Jr., and Albert Ramirez, his sister Frances Corral and brother-in-law Marc Richardson.
He leaves his adoring wife Victoria and loving sons Matthew and Marc Ramirez. He also leaves his sisters: Lois, Marsha and Patricia; brothers: Richard (Theresa), Edward (Regina) and Raymond; and his uncles Albert and Daniel. At he and Vicky’s marriage, he became an older brother to his young brothers-in-law: Marc, Matthew, Jon and Marshall (Luke). He also leaves so many nieces and nephews.
Bobby loved his music and always kept his iPod updated and blasting while driving around town on his daily chores. He loved to kid around with all his friends at the local grocery and department stores.
His greatest hobby was genealogy. He worked feverishly on his and Vicky’s family, amassing more than 700 names and family history.
Bobby was a die-hard movie watcher, especially Westerns, World War II stories and 1930s or ’40s-era comedies.
Bobby served in the U.S. Air Force (active and reserve) ending as a Tech Sergeant.
Bobby will be missed more than words can express.
