Local pop musician Lorenzo Wood announced his new single, Jacket (I’m Sensitive.) It is available now. The single won Best Song in January at the West Coast Songwriter’s Redwood City Chapter.

“It’s a song about letting your friends know that you need their support, even if they don’t understand what you’re going through,” Wood said. The single was recorded in Alameda at Wood’s studio.

Wood began performing as a singer and musician at a young age. He was most recently seen performing at the Downtown Alameda Spring Festival both on stage and busking to a crowd. He will be back for the Alameda and Novato street fairs.

Wood released his debut EP, recorded at his studio, last spring at the age of 15. He records other musicians and can be hired for house concerts and live sound production.
