Webster Bank Hosting Talk for Business People
The Beacon Business Bank Speakers Series kicks off the spring season today, Thursday, March 21, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. with two local experts speaking on topics of interest to business owners.
First, CPA Lars Hansson will speak on “Tax laws of 2019 and the Impacts on Businesses”
Hansson has worked for more than 30 years providing dedicated service to his clients located throughout the Bay Area. His expertise is in business income tax preparation, tax planning, trust planning, estate preparation and planning processes.
Hansson is passionate in being involved in the Alameda community and participating in its non-profits. He held the position of president of the Downtown Business Association from 2000 to 2007.
Then, Tony Kuttner, owner of Task Force Payments will speak on “Merchant Services and the Infamous Chip.”
Kuttner has been a recognized and a respected force in Alameda for more than 20 years. His reputation is based on nurturing the customer care experience with compassion, efficiency and propagating the viability of the business.
His company specializes in providing credit card processing and various other merchant services for various business types, from small e-commerce stores to restaurants and business with physical locations and state-of-the-art point-of-sale systems.
Both speakers are Alameda residents.
