A crowd nearing 50 people joined in the fun Saturday when Dennis Evanosky and Eric J. Kos, local historians and publishers of the Alameda Sun, led a tour of Bay Farm Island’s original dry land. The duo lead tours through the Alameda Recreation and Parks Department’s Alameda Walks program. 

Local residents meet up every Saturday morning to walk for about an hour. Tour leaders and locations vary week to week.
