Caltrans has scheduled overnight closures of the Webster and Posey Tubes for multiple days in October for paving work. The closures are on weeknights only. The tubes will remain open in the daytime.

The Webster Tube will be closed at night on Oct. 4, 5, 6, 13, and 14. The Posey Tube will be closed at night on Oct. 7, 10, 11, and 12. Closures will be from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., except for Friday nights, when the tubes will close at 11:59 p.m. and open at 7 a.m.

Drivers entering Alameda are asked to use the 23rd Avenue exit on I-880 as a detour. For more information, visit www.alamedaca.gov/alerts.
