Try Virtual Reality at Library

Teens are invited to experience a whole new world at the Alameda Free Library. Visit this Saturday, Nov. 18, to try out an Oculus Rift Virtual Reality headset. Use the headset and controllers to experience space, build robots and much more. 

Take the chance to try this new technology from 2 to 4 p.m.. This fun event is planned by teens for teens. While waiting for a turn to play the Oculus Rift, teens can learn and play board games. Snacks will be provided. 

The library will provide a selection of board games and participants may also bring their own games to play. The event is open to teens only, 13 to 18. Meet up in the Stafford Room at the Alameda Free Library on 1550 Oak St.
