Think Tank This Saturday
Business discussion set at Argosy U
According to the Small Business Association, more than 50 percent of small businesses fail within the first five years. Research shows that lack of experience in areas such as pricing, financing and planning, accounts for the majority of failures.
The Alameda Chamber of Commerce is committed to taking a bite out of these statistics by developing business education programs that can substantially increase the success of its members. Paramount to these efforts is the Alameda Small Business Think Tank, the Chamber’s equivalent to ABC’s popular reality television show, Shark Tank.
The Alameda Small Business Think Tank features a panel of experts who offer aspiring entrepreneurs insights into turning ideas into successful business strategies. Workshops, held by the expert panel, will help attendees take their businesses to new levels of success.
The first Think Tank was described as “a feeding frenzy of business insight and a learning experience like no other in the Bay Area.”
The Chamber’s next Think Tank will be held at Argosy University, 1005 Atlantic Ave., Saturday, Feb. 20 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Visit www.alamedathintank.com for more information.
