Teens: Help Guide the Library
Teens: Help Guide the Library
The Alameda Free Library is seeking Alameda youths to join the Teen Advisory Board (TAB) to let the library know what they’re interested in.
The TAB makes a difference to the library and other teens in Alameda.
Alameda teens are invited to the next TAB meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 4, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be at the Main Library on 1550 Oak St. in the Stafford Room.
TAB members will plan events and projects for the upcoming year at this meeting. The TAB members will also vote on various decisions. Members earn community service hours for every meeting and event that they participate in.
Teens ages 13 to 18 are invited to the meeting and food will be provided. RSVP to Hallie Fields, Teen Librarian, at hfields@alamedca.gov if planning to attend.
