The East Bay Regional Park District, Rotary Club of Alameda, Alameda Friends of the Parks Foundation, and the Alameda Recreation and Park Department present the 2017 Splash into Spring Egg Scramble.

Bring the entire family to this popular community event on Saturday, April 8, at the Crab Cove Picnic Area, Robert Crown Memorial State Beach, 1252 McKay Ave. Free parking will be available at the Otis and Westline drives parking lot. Pre-registration is not necessary.

Pre-Scramble activities begin at 10 a.m., and include the park district’s Mobile Visitors Center, lawn games, arts and crafts. Photos with the Easter Bunny and snacks will be available for purchase.

Scrambles will take place at staggered times between 11:15 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. Scramble areas will be divided by ages: walking to two-years-old; three- to four-years-old; five- to six-years-old; seven- to eight-years-old; and nine- to 12-years-old. Children should bring baskets to collect their goodies.
