The Alameda Women’s Golf Club (AWGC) held one of its mainstay events last Thursday, Jan. 29 at the Chuck Corica Golf Complex.

The AWGC held a four-man team tournament which pits golfers into a team of four. Each member plays each hole, but the only two best scores of a particular hole are counted toward the team score and the other two scores are discarded.

The teams were broken into two flight groups. The first flight pitted teams with a combined handicap of 62 to 98. The second flight matched teams with a combined handicap between 112 and 157.
