The annual Alameda All-City Music Concert will be held Friday, March 10 at 7 p.m. in the Alameda High School gym.

This concert will showcase the talents of the wonderful band and orchestra students from Wood Middle School, Lincoln Middle School, the Academy of Alameda, Encinal Jr/Sr High School and Alameda High School.

For many years now the Alameda music teachers have teamed together to present this amazing celebration of music across the Island. All the musicians and directors have practiced for many hours to make this event happen. Julie Larson at Wood Middle School, Claire Phillips, interim sub for music director Bailey Hardman at the Academy of Alameda, Jesse Russell at Lincoln Middle School, Tyra Ingram Cable at Alameda High School and Mitchell Wagner at Encinal Jr/Sr High School will lead their students at the concert.

The event is free. Seating will begin for the audience at about 6:45 p.m. Alameda High School is located at 2200 Central Ave.
