Scenes from the 2018 Webster Street Jam

The crowds were out in full force last weekend for the West End’s annual Island Jam street festival. Thousands enjoyed the live music, food, drink and festivities at the event.

Above, the crowd dances at one of three stages that featured local bands. A showcase of talent took place at the community stage at Webster Street and Haight Avenue.

Below, the Jam was the perfect opportunity for kids to go out with their dads for Father’s Day. Dad got to enjoy the many arts and crafts booths as well as special fair food and, of course, the Fun Slide in the kids’ section. As shown below, the slide wasn’t just for kids!

The Island Jam is produced by the Alameda Chamber of Commerce in association with a host of generous sponsors, volunteers and members of the West Alameda Business Association.
