Rider Evaluations Sought for the Loop Shuttle and Discount Taxi Programs
The City of Alameda provides three affordable transportation options for older residents or those with disabilities: the free Alameda Loop Shuttle service and two discounted taxi programs. The city would like to hear feedback from riders to help ensure these programs are meeting the community’s needs. To weigh in, riders may:
- Complete an online survey at www.opentownhall.com/portals/198/forum_home
- Visit www.AlamedaLoopShuttle.com for survey forms, shuttle schedules and taxi program applications
- Pick up a survey at the transportation office at Mastick Senior Center
- Pick up a survey on each Alameda Loop Shuttle Bus
Completed surveys can be dropped off or mailed to the Mastick Senior Center, 1155 Santa Clara Ave. by Friday, Dec. 21. These services are funded by Measures B and BB sales tax dollars and are administered by the Alameda County Transportation Commission.
