Restaurant Helps Fire Victims

At two upcoming events Alameda’s C’era Una Volta Italian Restaurant will be serving up deliciousness and generosity. Cheryl Principato and Rudy Duran, owners of C’era Una Volta, will contribute to the “Week of Italian Cuisine in San Francisco” event held Nov. 13 through 17, to benefit those still recovering from the North Bay firestorms. C’era will present a $35 four-course prix fixe dinner and wine pairing as part of the weeklong celebration of Italian food at its location on Park Street.

The culinary celebration is now in its second year and takes place at Italian restaurants around the Bay Area. Its goal is to promote Italian traditions and food-and-wine connoisseurship as a distinctive trait of Italian identity and culture. For more information, visit weekofitaliancuisineinsf.org.

C’era will then take the fundraising effort one step further on Monday, Dec. 4. In a partnership with the Food Shift Kitchen, C’era will host another fundraiser for fire victims.

C’era Una Volta is located at 1332 Park St. Ste. D. For more information or reservations, call 769-4828 or visit www.ceraunavolta.us.
