The Housing Authority of the City of Alameda (AHA) has negotiated a purchase and sale agreement for the Hawthorn Suites hotel at 1628 Webster Street.

Alameda’s Fourth of July Parade was brought back to the Island City after a two-year pause due to COVID-19. More than 170 floats took part in the event. Every facet of the city was represented at the parade.
