The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) announced today that it will close the Posey Tube in late January for cleaning and other maintenance.

The Posey Tube, leaving Alameda, will be closed as follows:

• Monday, Jan. 25, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning,
• Tuesday, Jan. 26, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, and
• Wednesday, Jan. 27, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.
